The Appalachian Trail Lodge is a family home that was originally constructed in 1901 as a boarding house and has hosted Appalachian Trail hikers since 1988. The Appalachian Trail Lodge is located in the heart of downtown Millinocket, the closest town to Baxter State Park and Katahdin.
